All Possible Dice Sets Project

HARD TABLE

SOFT TABLE

2-4/1-2  Hard D 8 Casino
2.4 x 1.2 Played at a hard table on 9-4-22. This set begins the 2-4 base dice sets. 24 different sets in all. This set has the feel of a handy and reliable tool. Not exactly a Utility Set you carry around it’s more of a Casino Set. It plays well (on a hard surface) hitting all the numbers within 7 to 10 rolls. Managed wisely this kind of set provides you with gaming pleasure and profitable winnings.
Up till now – this-set – Joe has rolled 144 dice sets twice. 144 rolled on 2 different surfaces. Since there are 578 possible dice combinations in total; Joe has 1,012 sets left to roll. 578 combos thrown twice equals 1,156 minus the 144 now done equals 1,012. Posted to YouTube on 9-14-22

2-4/1-2  Soft D 9 Casino
2.4 x 1.2 Played at a soft table on 9-18-22. Like its ‘hard’ twin, this set has the feel of a handy and reliable tool. Not exactly a Utility Set you carry around it’s more of a Casino Set. It plays well on both a hard and soft surface, hitting all the numbers within 7 to 10 rolls. Managed wisely this kind of set provides you with gaming pleasure and profitable winnings.  Scheduled at YouTube for 9-30-22

2-4/1-3 Hard D 6,8,9 Good
2.4 x 1.3 Played at a hard table on 9-5-22. So far the 2-4 base dice sets are hot, hot, hot. 3 ATS’s in 6 games, lots of place hits and a fair number of hard ways. But, as I demonstrate in this vid if you miss the target and/or target zone the dice produce a 7 every time&ldots;so beware. To demonstrate you may watch me throw 3 sevens in a row at time marker 3:30.695.  Posted to YouTube on 9-16-22

2-4/1-3 Soft D 8 Good
2.4 x 1.3 Played at a soft table on 9-19-22. The 1-subsets have proven their value as winners with little exception. Here again the 2.4x1.3 wins big. It’s hard twin out preformed in the prize money department but only due to risk. You may do your own comparisons on the SETS pages just to see how closely these sets are. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-2-22

2-4/1-4  Hard D 3, 9, 10 Perfect
2.4 x 1.4 Played at a hard table on 9-6-22. Just when you guess things couldn’t get any hotter, they do. The comment given for this session is: Perfect. And it isn’t far from that. 113 rolls, 2 ATS, 10 hard ways, and while there’s plenty of place hits the 3, 9 and 10 are the top numbers hit. If not the perfect set , it is the most dramatic I’ve rolled in a long while.

2-4/1-4  Soft DNo
2.4 x 1.4 Played at a soft table on 9-21-22. Water cooler convos over here at Play Along Craps often boasts the 2-4x1-subsets as near legendary. Oh! but not this set when thrown to a soft table. Literally, it stinks. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-4-22

HARD TABLE

SOFT TABLE

2-4/1-5 Hard D 6 OK
2.4 x 1.5 Played at a hard table on 9-10-22. Just when you guess things couldn’t get any hotter, they cool down; if only a degree or two. All the 2-4x1-subsets have shown to be proven winners on our hard table. Posted to YouTube on 9-22-22

2-4/1-5 Soft D 7 NO
2-4 x 1-5 Played at a soft table on 9-22-22.  This is a Pay-To-Play dice set. Doesn’t cost you much, you’ll leave the table with lunch money, but little more. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-6-22

2-4/2-1  Hard D 9 OK
2.4 x 2.1 Played at a hard table on 9-13-22.  Unlike it’s sister sub-set (2-4x2-4) this set produced the expected amount of hard ways, did OK with place numbers and excited with 4’s and 10’s. The set yielded not great but not bad winnings. Each game rolled only one 7 but, of course, they were all 7-outs; and fairly short games. Posted to YouTube on 9-24-22

2-4/2-1  Soft D 6 OK
2-4 x 2-1 Played at a soft table on 9-23-22. This set produced the expected amount of hard ways, did OK with place numbers (14 sixes out of 48 rolls) and outperformed with 4’s and 10’s. In actuality, it did even better than the vid shows because I made a mistake-did not take an ATS when it happened. With or without that ATS the set yielded good winnings. I enjoyed shooting this set. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-8-22

2-4/2-3 Hard D 6 No
2.4 x 2.3 Played at a hard table on 9-15-22. Is OK  for pressing, but not ready for any serious game play. Way too many 7’s. Posted to YouTube on 9-26-22

2-4/2-3 Soft D 7 7-play
2.4 x 2.3 Played at a soft table on 9-25-22. This set has only one value: It’s a front line super set. Check out game 2; 7 sevens in a row at the game’s start. Otherwise, this set is uninteresting. I probably will employ it hence forward – on a soft table – for my come out then choose a different set to continue my game. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-10-22

2-4/2-4 Hard D 7 No
2.4 x 2.4 Played at a hard table on 9-10-22. A hard way set that produced hardly any. Will be interesting to see how it rolls on a soft table. Otherwise, this set blows. This is no judication against this pair of dice as a hard way set. Merely turn the dice once or twice or around and the same pair will produce numerous hard ways. Posted to YouTube on 9-20-22

2-4/2-4 Soft D  8 Very Good
2.4 x 2.4 Played at a soft table on 9-27-22. Never bad; when the going’s good it’s good. when it’s not so good it’s not so bad either. This set affords ample opportunities for pressors, HOPS and gave me two ATS. Hit eight – in all combinations – 15 times out of 78 rolls. 8 times alone in game #4. Not a utility set because 2 out of 5 games were mildly scarry, however, all game plays were enjoyable if not downright fun. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-12-22

2-4/2-6 Hard D 7 No
2.4 x 2.6 Played at a hard table on 9-15-22. Not every dice set will give you hits and/or wins. This set is one of those. All the 2-4x2-sub-sets have shown to be junk&ldots;on a hard table. However, of all the 2-sub-sets this one will pay off big by putting steady bets on 7. YouTube for 10-12-22

2-4/2-6 Soft D 7 No
2-4 x 2-6 Played at a soft table on 10-1-22. This set plays just as well on a soft table as it does on a hard surface, maybe even better. Alas, the set is a looser on both. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-14-22

HARD TABLE

SOFT TABLE

2-4/3-1 Hard D 8 Need Sup
2-4 x 3-1 Played at a hard practice station on 10-19-22. Somewhat a disappointment after its sister on a soft table blew us all away. This time on a hard surface the 2-4x3-1 gives us a good, steady rhythm and ride but falls short with too many 7’s. You’ll still walk away with $160 more than you found in your pocket before the game. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-26-22

2-4/3-1 Soft D 6&8 Casino
2-4 x 3-1 Played at a soft table on 10-2-22. Love at first roll. This set has them all: ATS, great presses, HOPS, fair to good hard ways, lots of rolls. Had I discovered this set earlier in my craps career I’d have so many chips in my bank I’d be the king of plastic chips world. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-16-22

2-4/3-2  Hard D 7 NO
2-4 x 3-2 Played at a hard practice station on 10-19-22. Reference the video for the soft table at time mark 4:43 mentions that it is the table – not the dice set or the shooter’s abilities – that determines the dice set’s outcome. If ever there was an example to point out a reason to believe the outcome of a roll of dice of the same set depends entirely on the surface rolled on, here it is. On a soft table this set stuns – even amazes. On this hard surface it is a ‘must to avoid.’ Yes, I played my bets differently, however, when you analyze the stats of this session carefully you’ll find if you apply a MOLLY things turn out even worse than they did when betting our traditional Iron Cross.

2-4/3-2  Soft D 8 GOOD
2-4 x 3-2 Played at a soft table on 10-12-22. A session of 6 games where we start with a traditonal 3 point Molly on the Come side then go dark then light again then mix it up and finally end the session placing $120 on the 6 and 8 – over and over again. Ever feel a session of craps is like lighting a fuse only to watch it burn into a fire works explosion? No? Watch this. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-20-22

2-4/3-5 Hard 8 OK
2-4 x 3-5 Played at a hard practice station on 10-20-22. This set does give above average hard ways. If this set had any specific value..say: like maybe y’all want to gamble the hard ways or press the 5, 6 or 8 (maybe, perhaps, who knows?) or hope that one of the 2 ATS would hit or just ride out the rolls to make a lot of chips ... I’d cheer it and place it on our numbers page http://www.joepegasus.com/craps/numbers.htm But, alas! it’s just an OK set with no intrinsic value. One of those sets where you accept a handful of loses just so when one or two games pay off nicely y’all ‘think’ the set made the grade. Not my kind of action. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-30-22

2-4/3-5 Soft D 10 GOOD
2-4 x 3-5 Played at a soft table on 10-14-22. Remember the 3-2 subset that rolled endless 6’s and 8’s? This set rolls 8’s, 9’s and especially 10’s till the cows come home&ldots;but it also rolls a fair share of 7’s too. In this 5 game session Joe pulls out all the stops then walks home loaded. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-22-22

2-4/3-6 Hard D 9 Place Numbers
2-4 x 3-6 Played at a hard practice station on 10-21-22. A very good set for place numbers. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-1-22

2-4/3-6 Soft D 6 SUP
2-4 x 3-6 Played at a soft table on 10-16-22. So many 6’s! 5 hardways out of 61 rolls! Lot’s of winnings when gambling much! How do you solve a problem like the 3-6 subset? How do you catch a cloud and pin it down? Could it be an ATS comes to the rescue, but even without it money comes around. How do you find a word that describes this dice set? A flibbertigibbet! A will-o'-the wisp! A clown! I’d be careful when rolling this dice set when wagering any money or my pound. Scheduled at YouTube for 10-24-22

2-4x4-1 Hard D 7 BROKE
2-4 x 4-1 Played at a hard practice station on 10-22-22. Only a die-hard PLC (Play Along Craps) player would bother with this video. This set is utterly frustrating, leaves you broke and warns of the coming 4-subsets will be a long, long, long hard trawl. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-3-22

2-4x4-1 Soft D 7 NO
2-4 x 4-1 Played on a soft table on 10-26-22. Once, when I began growing as a young artist, Michelangelo’s Pietà came to town. All the people lined up to stand atop a conveyor belt at the 1964 World’s Fair to get a chance just to see the wonderfully carved stone. I had read the weight of the mother’s arm exceeded 700 pounds; that amazed me. So much so that while the belt carried me passed the statue I spent the entire trip staring at the arm; lost entirely in the magic the craver performed by jutting 700 pounds of stone right out there before my very eyes and making it seem like it didn’t weight anything at all. Couple of decades later I found myself working a carving of my own which the apprentices at my studio bent in real close to figure out how little-o-me pulled it off. In the stone cutting biz we have an old Italian saying (in English: ‘Steal with your eyes’) so I never did tell  anyone my secret. Yet I did hear one young man whisper to another, “Because he knows how to do it.” Practice is the secret to perfection.

The 2-4 x 4-1 dice set is not for the apprentice. It takes an old, well trained eye to navigate this set. It’s for an old-timer to appreciate. Thus as poorly as I navigated it, I surely appreciate this set. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-11-22

HARD TABLE

SOFT TABLE

2-4x4-2 Hard D 6 GOOD
2-4 x 4-2 Played at a hard practice station on 10-23-22. I thought that after the horrible showing the 4-1 subset gave us this 4-2 would under perform. Holy Boxman, Batman, was I ever wrong! Had game 5 of this 5 game session lasted a few more rolls this set would had given me 5 out of 5 games ATS’s. BIG winnings, good for HOPs, and pressing. Not all that good for hard ways. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-5-22

2-4x4-2 Soft D 8 OK
2-4 x 4-2 Played on a soft table on 10-27-22. everything that can happen happens with this dice set, tho it is somewhat of a disapointment.; even the electric cut out at the end of game 4. I rated the set as just OK especially since it outperformed on a hard table. Those who enjoy our vids wherein I get a bit chatty will love this vid along with front line wins. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-13-22

2-4x4-5 Hard D 5 & 9 OK
2-4 x 4-5 Played at a hard practice station on 10-24-22. Better than expected hard ways, 9 tens, 9 sixes out of 54 rolls, good winnings even without the ATS in the fifth game of the session. The games had run at an enjoyable clip with a couple of laughs along the way. Sound like the perfect craps’ game? Might be. You decide. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-7-22

2-4x4-5 Soft D 4 OK
2-4 x 4-5 Played on a soft table on 10-28-22. The written review for this dice set on a hard table asked y’all if the session was perfect. You decide. But this set on a soft table cannot be called anywhere near &ldots;even good. Very dicey is the way I call it. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-15-22

2-4x4-6 Hard D 7 NO
2-4 x 4-6 Played at a hard practice station on 10-25-22. A bad apple; but not the only one. The 4-subsets are a mixed bunch to say the least about them. The 4-1 (2-4x4-1 set) left us broke and frustrated. The 4-2 gave us such winnings that I’m still partying abouit it. The 4-5 seems OK. Then along comes this 4-6 and I’m still picking up the messy grocery aisle over this one! Scheduled at YouTube for 11-9-22

2-4x4-6 Soft D 8 GOOD
2-4 x 4-6 Played on a soft table on 10-29-22.  Right before shooting this last of the 4-sub-sets I envisioned writing in this quick description that ‘like all the 4-sub-sets this one - the 4-6 - played poorly against its hard surface sister,’ but no - this sub-set did better. Yet it did do what her sisters had done - if hard surface played good, the opposite were the results for the soft. Because I assumed this sub-set to be a loser - at least - not worth the effort - wow was I ever S-U-R-P-R-I-S-E-D ! Scheduled at YouTube for 11-17-22

2-4x5-6 Hard D 6 No
2-4 x 5-1 Played on a hard table on 11-4-22.  Oh! the woes of the 5-sub-sets continue onto the hard surface. This set did not do poorly on the soft table; not as bad as the other 5-sub-sets. However, it failed to make the grade here. It did OK, but I’m not sure if playing the dark side for this set - like the others - would do it. So it fails on all accounts. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-26-22

2-4x5-1 Soft D 6 OK
2-4 x 5-1 Played on a soft table on 10-30-22. Pretty winnings, lots of hardways, 1 ATS but nearly 3 more and moves at a nice clip. If only dice never added up to 7. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-19-22

2-4x5-3 Hard D 4 No
2-4 x 5-3 Played on a hard table on 11-5-22. This set caused so much clamor when Joe played it on a soft table. Among us it had to be rolled in over 5 or more sessions; one of those session was 12 games long! It has been rolled on 1) Double felt, 2) hard Masonite, and 3) brick & mortar. Joe forced all those games because he searched for the set’s value as a winner&ldots;not what we’re all about, folks. However now, this set has claimed the crown as far as being a winner - on the dark side - on all surfaces. As such let’s all applaud it but move on to our real focus of what numbers roll for each possible dice set&ldots; the project. Remember the Project?

2-4x5-3 Soft D 7 No
2-4 x 5-3 Played on a soft table on 10-31-22. This set opened a can of Halloween worms. Come the third game of what was to be a 5 game session it became apparent that this set throws way too many sevens. Joe couldn’t get past the 4th game because he went broke. What to do? Cases like this are put aside so we can throw what’s called ‘supplemental’ games. And we have. So this video begins a series of games. You may ask why? Our answer is, “ Because, this set under the rules of the All Possible Dice Sets Project throws just about all sevens, it might, using a different betting system, still throw sevens but end up winning chips rather than losing"&ldots;&ldots;.stay tuned to find out. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-21-22

HARD TABLE

SOFT TABLE

2-4x5-4 Hard D 7 Good
2-4 x 5-4 Played on a hard table on 11-6-22. Is she, ain’t she? This set on a soft table seemed like a good dark side set.. but then again we weren’t sure. Joe starts this session on a hard surface on the dark side only to be confounded. So switch to the light. At first things were PU like PSO. They improved dramatically. So&ldots;dark or light? You decide. Scheduled at YouTube for 11-29-22

2-4x5-4 Soft D 7 Dark Side
2-4 x 5-4 Played on a soft table on 11-2-22. Here we go again&ldots;the 5-sub-sets continue to baffle. Are they all just seven sets in disguise? Sure looks that way to me. From games 2 through 4 were all clobbered from sevens. I played game 5 on the dark side, that worked but not fabulously to say the least. I fear this set may bring about more SUPs. However, the goal of the All Possible Dice Sets Project is exclusively to discover which numbers roll to any set. This last foray into “ HOW ” to play a dice set is outside the project’s intent. Joe actually is verving off focus..and needs to be whipped back in line. LOL.Scheduled at YouTube for 11-24-22

2-4x5-6 Hard D 6 & 8 NO
2-4 x 5-6 Played on a hard table on 11-8-22. This vid begins a new way of doing things for us. A methodology everyone has been pushing for, except Joe, for awhile. Because we very seldom refer to the vids when we determine aspects of game play no one here cares about the vids. Having them at You Tube, Vimeo, Twitch etc, do nothing for anyone. And we suspect the VIEWS they get are our members anyway. So starting today (although there are 2 weeks of vids yet to be published) all vids will be nothing but the vids - no dressing them, little eit, nothing much but the games itself. In other words; back to our roots.

This set argues to be good on the light side on a hard table and gets game play on both sides. Expect a SUP or two with this set. Published at YouTube today - 11-8-22; ahead of about 9 others.

2-4x5-6 Soft D 7 Dark Side
2-4 x 5-6 Played on a soft table on 11-3-22. You get to see only 2 games so you may want to pass this one by. Entire session is shown on the spread sheet. That is how we here at PAC rather look the games over. Having those, we did not care about the dumb camera malfunction and move on to the next set in our quest to play and study every possible dice set. I posted this because I offer everyone an apology concerning the last sessions - those you’ve seen (as there were many.) Scheduled at YouTube for 11-25-22

2-4x6-2 Hard D 7 NO
2-4 x 6-2 Played on a hard table on 1-1-23. Here’s another set with those darn pop-up 7’s. Frustratingly so because half the games had the feel of victory. Games move good, rolls great numbers, you think the ATS is yours! But there’s something that just seems wrong. That being the demon jumps up to ruin everything.

Thus far Joe has rolled 174 dice sets on 3 surfaces – soft, hard, and street. There are 576 sets to roll in all. 402 more to go until the All Possible Dice Sets Project is satisfied. This set has been posted at the website on 1-2-23. Scheduled at YouTube for 1-13-23

2-4x6-2 Soft D 6 NO
2-4 x 6-2 Played on a soft table on 1-12-23. Just like its sister on a hard table, here’s another set with those darn pop-up 7’s. This set has been posted at the website on 1-12-23. Scheduled at YouTube for 1-21-23

2-4x6-3 Hard D 8 Tricky
2-4 x 6-3 Played on a hard table on 1-2-23. We all play games because they’re fun to pass time with. Here’s the perfect example and can only be claimed to be fun, certainly not profitable and the 7 snags you just when you think the going is clear. Still, this 6 games session will delight you. Thus far Joe has rolled 175 dice sets on 3 surfaces – soft, hard, and street. There are 576 sets to roll in all. 401 more to go until the All Possible Dice Sets Project is satisfied. This set has been posted at the website on 1-4-23. Scheduled at YouTube for 1-15-23

2-4x6-3 Soft D  6 NO
2-4 x 6-3 Played on a soft table on 1-12-23. On a hard table this set’s comment was Too Tricky..NO. On this soft attempt we rated it as just a solid NO. Watch the vid and you’ll learn why. This set has been posted at the website on 1-12-23 and scheduled at YouTube for 1-23-23

2-4x6-4 Hard D 6 GOOD
2-4 x 6-4 Played on a hard table on 1-7-23.  Played 6 games, 80 rolls, 12 hard ways, 21 sixes and big wins. Rare to come across this kind set – a wait for the 7 set. Bet anything but the 7 and you’re doing very good. Thus far Joe has rolled 176 dice sets on 3 surfaces – soft, hard, and street. There are 576 sets to roll in all. 400 more to go until the All Possible Dice Sets Project is satisfied. This set has been posted at the website on 1-10-23. Scheduled at YouTube for 1-17-23

2-4x6-4 Soft D 6 OK
2-4 x 6-4 Played at a soft table on 1-13-23. This set has been on everyone’s short list for a ‘must-see’ after its steller showing on a hard table – also did good on the Street and dirt court. It doesn’t match the hard surface, however after 6 games, walking home with over 1,000 chips is a nice booby prize, if you ask me. Posted at the website on 1-14-23 and scheduled for You Tube on 1-25-23.

2-4x6-5 Hard D 8 NO
2-4 x 6-5 Played on a hard table on 1-8-23. Like being at a casino loser. Thus far Joe has rolled 177 dice sets on 3 surfaces – soft, hard, and street. There are 576 sets to roll in all. 399 more to go until the All Possible Dice Sets Project is satisfied. This set has been posted at the website on 1-10-23. Scheduled at YouTube for 1-19-23

2-4x6-5 Soft D 5 NO
2-4 x 6-5 Played at a soft table on 1-14-23. This set closes out the 2-4 base sets. Some very good sets played among them on all surfaces. This set not much at all. A typical ‘casino’ set – meaning you throw 7 to 10 rolls and out you go. But every 5 to 7 games usually is profitable&ldots;maybe. Posted at the website on 1-14-23 and scheduled for You Tube on 1-27-23.
